Ginger Zaferes

Hi, I’m Ginger, the heart behind Miss Ginger’s Art Cart! I have over 20 years of experience working with young children, and I specialize in preschool art that focuses on creativity, exploration, and confidence, not perfection. My background in early childhood education and child development shapes everything I create, from hands-on art projects to playful routines children love. 

I believe art should feel joyful, safe, and accessible for every child. In my classes, children are encouraged to explore materials that are curated especially for their class and express themselves freely. My art lessons combine structure and creativity, children are supported with clear guidance while still having room to explore and make choices!! There is no “right” or “wrong” way to create art, only opportunities to learn, grow, and have fun!  Miss Ginger’s Art Cart was created to bring meaningful art experiences directly to children in a way that feels warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate. My goal is for children to feel proud of their ideas, confident in their creativity, and excited to make art!
